Ladies 2's Friendly

Broxbourne ladies 2's comfortably won 4-0 at home against St.Ives in second friendly of the season. The match started well with an unstoppable straight-strike to the left post from left back Darcy Lowe during our first short-corner, not long into the first half. The team managed to maintain possession throughout and eventually score again from Isobel Kent's silky skills, making the half time score 2-0. After captain Millie Leonard gave a brutal team talk, the second half started strong and it was not long before our third goal. This time from across the D to Charlotte Hartwig-Green, who tapped it in from the right post. Several short corners later, the next goal followed with a left slip to Lauren who slapped the ball into the back of the goal, making the final result a 4-0 win. The whole team played well and for her amazing skill Darcy Lowe was voted player of the match.
