Ladies 2s manage a comfortable win against local rivals Hertford

A nice close away game at Hertford against their Ladies 2s was not matched by the weather, as the rain poured all game! A Hertford team with some strong players and mix of youth and experience prevented the Broxbourne team from being able to perform their normal game of moving the ball around and blocked many attacking plays. The first goal came from Rosie Loring with a defection of a ball in the air. A series of attacks on the break from Hertford, left the Broxbourne team nervous of their marginal lead at half time. Some strong communication improved the L2s attacks and continued pressure on the Hertford defence saw another 3 goals come from Gemma Gumble, Lauren Fixter and Jess Iszatt to finish the game with a comfortable 4-0 win.
