Broxbourne Ladies 1st game back
Broxbourne had a frustrating first game back following the festive season.
After some early pressure Broxbourne conceded after a well drilled short corner routine from crostyxs. Broxbourne continued to try and build momentum, however they struggled to move the ball early often resulting in a turnover of possession.
Broxbourne started the second half well, following some tactical changes from coach Matt McDonnel. Some well placed aerials from Laura Wills interferred with crostyxs game plan and broxbourne began to apply the pressure. Broxbourne had several opportunites within the circle. Defensively broxbourne looked strong in the second half, some impressive saves from keeper Freya and Centre back becky watkins making some crucial tackles to keep the crostyxs forwards at bay. Despite broxbournes continued attempts at goal they were unable to convert these leaving the final score at 0-1.
