There’s a Moose Loose about our Hoose

On a wet day, broxbourne once again failed to win a game that was easily theirs for the taking. After watching super pig Josh Chapman receive two cards in the game before, we were hoping our umpires would be nicer! All the first team are begging for mentions in our match report, so honourable mention to the better Chapman who filled in as goalkeeper and unfortunately did not the save the flick.

On with the 2’s match report. We arrive at a rather wet badger field feeling optimistic after last weeks win. After sticking to groups of 6 in the warm up, some of us were ready to beat our opposition after Sully took us on an scenic tour of the Hertfordshire countryside as we went on the run of a lifetime.

The game began and Broxbourne took control of the ball, maintaining possession for the majority of the first half. However Royston wangled their way to a 1-0 lead thanks to some relaxed marking and a clueless keeper just laying down!!

Unfazed by this, Broxbourne maintained their possession until the death of the first half still looking the better team. Broxbournes skipper Alex Satwick, who was mustard in the first half tried to motivate a lacklustre Broxbourne team.

In the second half browny scored again, it was inspirational, nobody else scored. Well done Brox...

We once again returned to the clubhouse for beers where we discovered 1s reject Will Fradley can’t pour a pint!!
