3s take a wet 7-0 win at home

Blueharts started strong and had a few decent chances with a lot of play in our defensive half for the first 15 minutes of the half. Broxbourne continued and finally broke down the Blueharts defence and created some chances against the keeper. A late break just before half time led to Rosie hitting the post and deflecting into the goal and so Broxbourne were 1-0 up at half time.

Broxbourne came out strong at the second half (with the rain now!!) determined to get more goals. Meg RW scurried 2 goals past the Blueharts keeper in quick succession. Then a short corner converted into a goal by Katie with an assist by Cerys, leading us to 4-0. 3 more goals by Cerys, Rosie (with a great assist by Grace) and another by Meg RW meant it finished 7-0 at the final whistle! A strong game and team performance, with man of the match going to both our top goal scorer Meg RW, and Sharon for a fantastic performance in defence.
